The graphic novel 2184 ½ is about a hero who rises to stop the country from destroying itself. Set in the distant future, the Deconstructed States of America are ruled over by the Ones, descendants of America's richest families who were inspired by the radical nationalists of the 21st century. The country is broken up into Tribes fighting for scarce resources: among them, a young female biker mechanic of mysterious origins starts the revolution that topples the Ones and their decadent empire.
